Lots of laughs, plenty of penguins in an atmospheric audio-visual journey to a remote continent.

Ben took the journey to this vast continent as part of the crew that filmed the BBC’s 1993 series Life in the Freezer, fronted by David Attenborough. Ben shot production, location and wildlife stills. These were wonderful expeditions where the emphasis was to visit the most spectacular locations at the most spectacular times of year and to spend as much time in the field as possible. A wildlife photographer’s dream!

Favourite Word Slam

A laid back three round event, where you are invited to share favourite words. Every round, the audience will put through the people whose words they like best, so have three words ready - as audience and players are the same.

You don't have to be a writer or a poet to take part and really enjoy this. Dictionaries are available on the night.
